The “last metre” was just the beginning

I was going to start with “Thrilled to announce…”, but that’s kinda 🤨

Besides, this piece by Manyone says it better than I could.

They nailed what we’ve been building at AugustMille: not another delivery robot, but the learning layer for the physical world.

When we started, Lily was just trying to get a package from the lobby to your door. Somewhere along the way, Lily became the proving ground for something much bigger — the infrastructure that enables robots to work where people live.

Manyone helped us express that clearly — in our pitch deck, our design language, and the story itself: true autonomy isn’t about redesigning buildings for robots or people for machines, but about teaching robots to understand the world as it already is.
